Under the Distinguished Patronage of His Excellency President Paul Biya, Head of State of The Republic of Cameroon
The first edition of CIEW will take place on the 20-21January in Yaoundé, the republic of Cameroon at the Hilton Hotel. The event will be organised in collaboration with AME Trade Ltd, United Kingdom.
Cameroon international energy and water conference will provide a unique & unrivalled platform for all stake holders to promote investment, evaluate the key challenges & opportunities in these sectors. Building on the experiences of existing investors and success stories CIEW will examine the guiding principals needed to further enhance private sector investment in the Energy & Water resource sector.
The republic of Cameroons development objectives for this sector are:

Provide universal access to ‘cleaner’ forms of energy to all sectors of the economy and to the general population; under reliable conditions and at competitive prices;

Cameroon is endowed with abundant primary energy resources which include:

Hydropower: gross potential of 55GW

Natural Gas: proven reserve estimated at 110 billion cubic metres

Biomass Residues: agriculture and forest logging, untapped potential with resources can be used for generation of heat
- Renewable such as Solar: average annual irradiation of 4 KWH/M2 /day
